About me/Your instructor

I’m Maya. For 10 years I’ve supported women who carry a lot to feel safe, present, and steady again—especially when life is full and rest feels out of reach. My work blends somatic nervous system support, gentle body-based practices, and simple weekly structure, so you can create real change without pushing yourself harder. We go step by step, at a pace that respects your body.

I’m trained in [somatic coaching / bodywork modality], with additional study in [nervous system regulation / trauma-aware practice / mindfulness]. I continue to deepen my work through ongoing training, supervision, and a client-led approach.

I don’t believe you need to be fixed. When you’ve been the one who carries a lot, your system often learns to stay alert, responsible, and ready. Somatic work helps you shift from “always on” into safety—through small, repeatable moments that your body can trust. The goal isn’t a perfect routine. It’s steadiness you can return to, even when life stays full.

For years I was the reliable one: capable, caring, and constantly switched on. From the outside it looked fine. On the inside I was tense, tired, and never fully at rest. Somatic work was the first thing that didn’t ask me to push harder. It taught me how to listen earlier, soften the grip, and build support into normal days—not just on holidays. That’s the kind of work I now offer: gentle, practical, and deeply respectful of where you are.

No. This is somatic support and coaching focused on nervous system regulation, body-based practices, and gentle structure. If you’re in therapy, this work can complement it well.

Yes. This work is for women who are managing life on the outside, yet feel tense, wired, or unable to fully switch off. You don’t need to be in crisis to benefit. We focus on building steadiness—so you can feel more grounded in your body, even on busy days.
Each session is guided and paced with you. We start with what you’re noticing right now (body, emotions, stress load), then use simple somatic practices, reflection, and gentle structure to support regulation and clarity. You’ll leave with a small, realistic focus to integrate into your week.
No. Everything is introduced in a simple, accessible way. I guide you step by step, and we choose practices that match your energy and capacity that day.
Both can be deeply effective. Online sessions work well because you’re in your own space and we can integrate practices into real life. In-person sessions add the option for hands-on support (if that’s part of the offering). We’ll choose what feels most supportive for you.
No. This is meant to reduce pressure, not add to it. The practices are gentle and doable, and we work with small steps—so support fits into your life without needing perfection.
